As part of the Licensing team, the Licensing Officer will monitor and maintain the Gaming License process, procedures, and information for Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. (ATI). This role is responsible for preparing corporate, individual executive (hereinafter referred to as “Key Person”) gaming applications and business licenses (initial and renewals) in all jurisdictions where the company is required to be licensed in accordance with company policy; and assisting in a back-up capacity regarding all facets of ATI licensing process as necessary.

Prepares corporate gaming and business license applications (initial and renewals) and reviews by department management as required by Native American Tribes and State Gaming Regulatory Authorities (hereinafter referred to as “Regulatory Authorities”) for relevant markets.

  • Interacts daily with Regulatory Authorities in coordinating the receipt, preparation, and submission of company and Key Persons applications to meet strict Regulatory Authority submission and business deadlines

  • Builds working relationships with other departments to collect corporate and individual information required to complete gaming applications

  • Expeditiously processes requests by Regulatory Authorities for additional information, documentation, and fees (investigative or other) for the company and Key Persons in order to obtain/renew the company’s gaming licenses.

  • Liaison with Regulatory Authorities on behalf of the Executives regarding Regulatory Authorities’ audits, investigations, and interviews on behalf of the company and/or Key Persons

  • Compiles, completes, and submits all Key Person gaming applications as requested by Regulatory Authorities in order to obtain gaming licenses

  • The primary resource for the Executive to make the licensing process as effortless as possible

  • Interfaces with Key Persons to collect corporate and individual information of an extremely confidential and sensitive nature

  • Updates and generates Key Persons' financial schedules as required

  • Maintains all company and Key Persons documents with the highest level of confidentiality (Gaming Applications, Fingerprint Cards, Driver’s License, Social Security Cards, Birth Certificates, and other related documents)

  • Monitors the day-to-day licensing process (i.e.: review applications for completion, track status and submissions to Regulatory Authorities)

  • Researches, communicates, and provides updates to the Licensing team regarding gaming license requirements set in place by Regulatory Authorities for relevant markets

  • Keeps department management appropriately informed of filing deadlines and ongoing activity as directed by department management, including critical matters regarding licensing compliance

  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with Regulatory Authorities to ensure ATI remains in good standing including attendance at training workshops etc.

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned by department management

  • Maintains organized files for all Corporate and Executive filings and related documentation/information

  • Informs management of items that may affect the department’s budget

  • Cross-train with the other functions within Regulatory Compliance

  • Attends key stakeholder meetings

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Notarize documents as required

  • Licensing data entry

What We're Looking For

  • Must have 3 years experience in the Gaming Industry

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

  • Demonstrable skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; proficient in Adobe Acrobat and ArdentSky.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Must have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and be team-oriented

  • Attention to detail

  • Adept at planning and organizing

  • Ability to multi-task – high volume, and strict regulatory deadlines

Pay Range

$27.31 - $50.73 per hour

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
