Get WGEA ready with expert support

Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) targets are now in effect and non-compliance comes with serious risks — from losing government contracts to reputational damage and hiring challenges.

WORK180 helps employers not only meet their obligations, but improve equity outcomes, build their employer brand, and lead the way on gender equality.

From May 2026, compliance is mandatory

If your organisation has 500 or more employees in Australia, you must:

✔ Set three gender equality targets

To meet WGEA requirements, your organisation must choose and register at least three gender equality targets.

Include at least one numeric target

At least one of your targets must be measurable — for example, a percentage increase in women in leadership roles.

Track and report publicly over three years

You’ll need to monitor progress and publish results annually across a three-year period, as outlined by WGEA.

Don’t just tick the box. Get it right.

This is not just a compliance task. It is a chance to improve your workplace, build your brand and lead on gender equity.

We help employers set and exceed equity goals, improving gender representation up to 12 times faster than average.

“WORK180’s approach has provided us with a framework to understand our strengths and opportunities specific to gender equity – enabling us to define our gender roadmap with confidence.”
